1. Who we are

Corpsorp ("we", "us", "our") operates a corporate-gated classifieds marketplace atcorpsorp.com. Only employees of companies with an approved corporate email domain can register, buy, sell, chat and call; everyone can browse publicly listed items.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over it. By registering you confirm that you have read and accepted this policy.

2. What we collect

• Account information — your full name, work email address (which must be from an approved corporate domain) and a password (stored only as a one-way hash).
• Profile information — phone number, address details and any other details you add to your profile.
• Listing information — the photos, description, price, condition and location you provide when you list an item.
• Activity information — offers you make, items you favourite, conversations and messages, call sessions, reports, reviews, and listings you view or sell.
• Technical information — your IP address, browser type and user agent, device type and pages you visit, collected so we can secure the service and understand usage.
• Communication details — the "note to our team" you may optionally add when registering (used to review access requests), and any support messages.

3. Why we use your data

We use your personal data to:

• Create and manage your account, verify your work email, and keep your account secure.
• Let you list items, make and respond to offers, chat and call other members, and complete a sale.
• Send you service notifications — offers, messages, calls, ticket updates and daily activity digests you are subscribed to.
• Enforce our Terms of Service, moderate content, block prohibited items, and detect or investigate misuse or fraud.
• Improve the marketplace, analyse how it is used (in aggregated form), and show you relevant listings and ads.
• Comply with legal obligations and operate the service you agreed to use.

4. Legal basis

We process your data primarily to perform the contract you enter into when you register (operating your account and providing the marketplace), to pursue our legitimate interestsin running and improving a safe marketplace, to comply with legal obligations, and — where we use marketing analytics — with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

5. Who we share data with

• Other members — the details you choose to publish (your listings, offers, messages and calls) are visible to the members you transact with.
• Service providers — hosting providers, email delivery (OTP codes and digests), web push notifications, and analytics (Google Analytics, GA4, tag G-5FY0290JQG), each bound to process data only on our behalf.
• Location services — the address autocomplete uses OpenStreetMap's public Nominatim service; no account or personal data is sent to us by it beyond your search text.
• Legal & safety — where required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Corpsorp, its members or the public.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

6. Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to allow for re-activation, dispute handling and legal obligations. Audit and event records are kept to protect the marketplace against abuse. When you delete your account, your personal listings, offers and profile information are removed from public view; you may ask us to delete the data we hold at any time.

7. Security

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, cookies that hold session or location data are encrypted, uploads are validated and stored outside the public web root, and access to member accounts is protected by role-based controls and rate limiting. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data (e.g. edit your profile).
• Delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Port your data to another provider.
• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. by rejecting analytics cookies).

To exercise any of these rights, email support@corpsorp.com. We will respond within the period required by law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children

Corpsorp is a professional corporate marketplace and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has registered, contact us and we will remove the account.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date above changes and material changes will be highlighted in the service. Continued use of Corpsorp after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
